Magpie – native Australian bird art

Magpie – native Australian bird art

Australian magpies get a bad rap, because in nesting season they swoop to attack anybody nearby. But they’re wonderful birds. The black and white feathers are striking and they’re just a lot of fun. They play-wrestle, sunbathe, eat from your hand and have the most amazing call. They’re also really smart – studies have shown they can recognise human faces, as well as remembering if each person is good or bad. This would make a great Aussie souvenir to send to your friends overseas.

I personally print these museum-quality posters on heavy, high quality paper with a satin finish, using a Canon fine art printer in my studio.

The paper is:

  • 310gsm
  • Acid free and certified to avoid paper degradation
  • Designed to meet gallery and museum longevity requirements
  • Extremely high quality

I check the quality of each print before packing and sending your order. A5 and A4 prints will arrive in a padded envelope, protected by heavy card, tissue paper and a plastic sleeve. For A3 prints I use a heavy-duty postal tube, tissue paper and a plastic sleeve.
