Kookaburra – native Australian bird art

Kookaburra – native Australian bird art

Why do we call them Laughing Kookaburras? Because they laugh like maniacs! When their laughter fills the air you’d think a flock surrounds you, but you look up and see that all that noise is coming from just two or three birds! If you happen to be having a barbeque, hang on to your snags because I once had a kookaburra swoop down and take the snag off my fork! This would make a great Aussie souvenir to send to your friends. No bird is more of an Aussie icon.

I personally print these museum-quality posters on heavy, high quality paper with a satin finish, using a Canon fine art printer in my studio.

The paper is:

  • 310gsm
  • Acid free and certified to avoid paper degradation
  • Designed to meet gallery and museum longevity requirements
  • Extremely high quality

I check the quality of each print before packing and sending your order. A5 and A4 prints will arrive in a padded envelope, protected by heavy card, tissue paper and a plastic sleeve. For A3 prints I use a heavy-duty postal tube, tissue paper and a plastic sleeve.
