Pins on the first face follow a map of places I've lived in Newcastle, NSW. On the second, they show where I have lived in Canberra. A thread describes the journey. The new, more complex face used for the second half of the journey relays that this is a different, richer part of my life, and I am a very different person. The lines on the faces are taken from the lines on my hands - this journey has led to my becoming an artist and maker, causing my hands to show far more than my face will ever give away.
