Tsunami is a response to the 2011 earthquake and subsequent tsunami in Japan, particularly images in the media of houses floating out to sea.

The patina applied to the bronze gives the impression that the house has been floating around for some time, becoming mouldy, perhaps also gaining a hint of radioactivity.
