Out of my mind is a diary. The title refers to the fact that once you write in your diary, those thoughts are out of your mind.

It also suggests you'd need to be out of your mind to put your most private thoughts on display, as this diary is.

There was a time when our private thoughts were just that – private. Now, our thoughts are shared with almost every internet user in the world, aired on social networking sites. Diary users of the past would not have dreamed of passing their diary around to a room full of strangers.

Out of my mind references this contradiction, taking the old-fashioned and private way of capturing intimate thoughts and putting it on display.
