Handed down is a set of three etchings - portraits of myself, my mother and my grandmother showing only our hands. They are quite similar, yet each quite changed by age and circumstance.

Now that I've seen them so clearly, I will, no doubt, constantly examine my own for the next change. Will it be caused by time, or will something else come along to make a difference?
